PLATINUM VILLAGE – ALBERT STREET BALCATTA

Platinum village is a boutique style of village compromising 25 independent living units in the suburb of Balcatta, conveniently located close to transport shopping and community facilities.

The village was constructed over two stages, and the majority of units are of two bedrooms and two bathrooms, study and either a lock up garage or carport.

Recreational facilities are offered in the form of a time allocation to a village to be constructed at Binnigup, 20 minutes north of Bunbury.

The villas at Balcatta are made available on a lease for life tenure and recent resales have been in the order of $300,000.

JACARANDA GARDENS – CLERE PASS CANNING VALE

Jacaranda Gardens is a 7 year old village situated centrally in Canning Vale conveniently located three kilometres to the east of the Livingston Square shopping centre and the Canning Vale markets.

The village is a lifestyle offering with 84 villas, a substantial clubhouse, indoor swimming pool and other recreational facilities.

FRED WRIGHT MEMORIAL HOMES

Fred Wright Memorial Homes is owned by the City of Fremantle and comprises of 19 modest one bedroom rental units at Rennie Crescent, Hilton.

The City enforces entry criteria in order to gain entry into the Village, including the tenant being over 60 and must receive a government pension. There are also limits on the amount of savings and assets the prospective tenant has. This criterion ensures that the tenants being placed into the complex are consistent with the City’s vision of assisting in providing social housing for those in need at a subsidised rate.

Most units have been refurbished and the complex features a common room with kitchen facilities and two laundries with coin operated washers and dryers for communal use.

The complex is conveniently located close to high frequency public transport routes and essential services such as supermarkets and banks.

TAPPER STREET MEWS

Tapper Street Mews is a very small retirement village owned by the City of Fremantle in White Gum Valley. Units are offered on a lease for life basis and comprise mostly of refurbished single bedroom units. The entry premium has been adjusted from market value to ensure that the units are accessible to those with limited financial capacity.

The manicured gardens are a feature of the village with all units having a secure, private read courtyard for quiet enjoyment.
